Skills
Skills are the primary moves or actions that Coromon utilize in battle to deal damage or inflict conditions or battle effects.
Mechanics
Each species of Coromon have a set of skills that vary greatly from other species. Certain species may even have signature skills that only they can learn. Skills are unlocked when a Coromon reaches certain levels and a Coromon may equip up to four skills to use in battles.
Additional skills may be taught using Skill Flashes, which are not consumed on use.
During battle, each Coromon may use one skill each turn, each skill requiring SP to be cast. Some skills have high or low priority that determine the order Coromon carry out attacks.
Categories
Skills are split up into three categories: Physical, Special, and Status.
Physical skills deal damage based on the user's Attack and the target's Defense. Most Physical skills also make contact which may cause interactions with certain battle field effects and traits.
Special skills deal damage based on the user's Sp. Attack and the target's Sp. Defense. Most of these skills do not make contact.
Skills in the Status category do not deal damage but rather inflict status conditions, stat boosts, debuffs, summon weather, or other types of battle effects. Most Status skills do not make contact.
