Hit Probability

The Hit Probability refers to the chances of a skill successfully landing on a Coromon.

Chances

The probability of a skill landing is calculated with the following formula:

Where

  • Skill Acc. is the Skill's accuracy
  • Acc. is the user Coromon's accuracy stat.
  • Evasion is the target Coromon's evasion stat.

Example:

If the skill the enemy uses has 100 Accuracy, and the Attacking Enemy Coromon has -4 stages of Accuracy, while your Receiving Coromon has +6 stages of evasion, then the calculation is 100 x (0.6 / 2.2), resulting in = 27.27% chance the move will land successfully.

If the skill the enemy uses has 100 Accuracy, and the Attacking Enemy Coromon has -6 stages of Accuracy, while your Receiving Coromon has +4 stages of evasion, then the calculation is 100 x (0.4 / 1.8), resulting in = 22.22% chance the move will land successfully.

In both examples, both of the numbers in the brackets are obtained from this table here. Currently, Evasion or Accuracy stats seem to only be affected by increases or decreases applied from skills during battles by 1 to 6 stages; the stat is not innate or present in a specific Coromon permanently as a variable. It simply only defaults to 1x multiplier in the calculation if there is no temporary stat modifications applied during battles.
