This page contains Frequently Asked Questions about the game with their answers. These are taken directly from the developers' FAQ on the Official Discord and some of our own. If your questions still aren't answered, you may leave a comment on this page or contact the developers.

Q: How does Coromon differentiate from other monster collecting games?

We are designing our own game in the monster collecting genre. There are a lot of changes and different approaches than what other games in the genre are doing. These differences can be found in every aspect of the game, from art style to battle mechanics.

Q: On what platforms can I play?

Coromon will be available on Steam (MacOS, Windows), iOS, tvOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch! We're also looking into the possibility of Unix support.

Q: Will you translate the game to my language?

A: We aim to translate the game to as many languages as possible.

Q: Can I play with my controller

A: Yes you can!

Q: When will the game release?

A: We aim to release around Q1 (January - March) 2022.

Q: Won't you get sued?

A: We don't use any copyright materials or names. There are already several other monster collecting games out there as well.

Q: What will the game cost?

A: Expect in the range of $10-20 for Steam & Switch, $2-5 for mobile. But we haven't decided on final pricing yet.

Q: Why is the mobile version cheaper?

A: We believe the game is worth its full price, but we want to offer a competitive price on the mobile market. The Steam version will contain elements which can be purchased through IAP in the mobile version.

Q: Can I help speed up development?

A: You can donate through KoFi or Paypal and get some cool in-game rewards as well! Check out our donation page.

Q: Will there be multiplayer functionality?

A: Yes, there will be online battles and cross-platform cloudsaves.

Q: Where can I find Coromon X?

A: Not all Coromon can be found in the demo yet, but you will be able to catch every Coromon in a single playthrough in the full game.

Q: Will the demo be updated any more?

A: We will keep updating the demo up until release, adding in new features, narrative and other improvements.

What's the chance of encountering a Potent / Perfect Coromon?

Both for the starters and for wild Coromon, the chance to encounter a Potent variation is 92/3194 (~1/35) and the chance to encounter a Perfect variation is 1/3194. There will be options in the full game to increase these chances. Read more about the Potential System here.

Will my savedata from the demo transfer to the full game?

We are able to transfer specific parts of your savedata. This includes your Coromon, quest progress and items. Although all Coromon XP beyond the max level in the demo will be reverted.

Q: Can I back up my saves or transfer them to another device?

A: This will only be a feature in the full game. However, if you are on mobile, you hold down on a saveslot for 10 seconds in the main menu to email the developers to initiate save transfer for you. On PC, your save files are located in the directory "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\TRAGSoft\Coromon\.system".

Q: Will Potent Scents be buyable in the full game?

A: In shops, yes.

Q: Where can I find a Lunarpup?

A: Enter Thunderous Cave, go down the eastern-most ladder shown here and walk around until you encounter it.
